Description
The Ohmstede 1083 sq. ft. vertical shell & tube heat exchanger is built for industrial-scale thermal transfer in demanding process environments. Designed with a carbon steel shell, 304L stainless steel tubes, and 304L stainless steel heads, it provides both strength and corrosion resistance.
This exchanger includes 428 stainless steel tubes (1” OD, .065” wall, 10’ length) on a 1.25” triangular pitch, with a 1-pass shell / 1-pass tube configuration. It is rated 245 psi @ 250°F (shell) and 58 FV psi @ 400°F (tubes).
Featuring 15 baffles at 6.5” spacing, multiple shell and tube nozzles, and NB code certification, this exchanger is well-suited for chemical, energy, food, and industrial applications. With a 2’6” shell diameter and 18’4” overall length, it’s a large-capacity unit designed for reliability and durability.
