This machine was donated to the non-profit Mv Robotics in the year 2023. It was delivered in working condition, however, it has never been tested due to a lack of sufficient power and ventilation infrastructure in our facility. When purchased, we can supply multiple rolls of filament at a discounted price, as well as spare parts.
Documented DAMAGE:
The side plate plastic is cracked, can be fixed with adhesive solvent. Not impactful to performance.
Back plate is crumbled, due to damage during machine transportation. Once removed, no other damage is visible. Needs testing to determine damage.

The 2015 Stratasys Fortus 450MC is a sixteen-by-fourteen-by-sixteen-inch-envelope FDM printer that marries four-bay auto-change filament handling with ±0.005-inch dimensional accuracy, giving engineers a bridge-production platform that rivals injection-mould tolerances. Its closed-loop heaters stabilise layer temperature while a one-thousand-PSI material feed keeps bead diameter consistent, allowing ASA casings, ABS-ESD7 sensor housings or ULTEM 1010 aerospace ducts to emerge warp-free overnight. Insight and GrabCAD Print software handle lattice fills, soluble supports and MTConnect monitoring, so the machine drops straight into Industry 4.0 cells.

Parts are produced within an accuracy of ± .127 mm (± .005 in.) or ± .0015 mm/mm (± .0015 in/in), whichever is greater). Z part accuracy includes an additional tolerance of -0.000/+slice height. Note: Accuracy is geometry-dependent. Achievable accuracy specification derived from statistical data at 95% dimensional yield.
