Eight (8) zone electrically, heated, water cooled and non-vented barrel at a nominal 44 center-line. Shop Order 03643. Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 15.08:1 and is rated at 1800 HP at a service factor of 1.5. Gearbox is set up to be dual direct driven in the back of the gearbox. Last driven by two (2) 700 HP D/C motors. Drives are included but motors are not available. Liquid cooling system with heat exchanger for gearbox protection. Trendelkamp screen changer with stand is mounted on the extruder discharge. Last used in the extrusion of biaxally oriented PP film.
