Suitable for the running testing/checking for smoothness
and quietness of operation, and inspection of actual tooth contact,
under load, (tooth bearing), on a wide variety of straight and
curved tooth bevel gears of any shaft angle, including hypoid, spur,
helical, internal gears, as well as worm and worm-wheel combinations
up to 13” maximum diameter.
The machine remains completely dismantled, as it was being rebuilt by “in-house” technicians at the ARROW GEAR COMPANY, Downers Grove, IL. The machine has been 80% scraped-in, complete with all parts, but not yet re-assembled.
