Description
The Tongtai TMS-1800S is a high-precision multi-tasking turning center designed to handle complex machining tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Equipped with a powerful FANUC 0i-TF Plus control system and a large 15-inch monitor, this machine supports 4+1 axis machining, making it ideal for advanced part processing in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and tooling.
It features a maximum swing and machining diameter of 550 mm and a generous machining length of up to 950 mm. The TMS-1800S comes with a built-in main and sub spindle, each capable of 6000 RPM, powered by 18.5/11 kW motors, and offering Ø51 mm bar capacity with precision indexing down to 0.001°. The HSK-T63 milling spindle reaches speeds of 12000 RPM with a 15/9 kW motor, supported by a B-axis rotary range of -30° to +210°, also with 0.001° indexing precision. Its robust tool management includes a 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), handling tools up to 230 mm in length and 7 kg in weight. With rapid traverse speeds of 40 m/min on X/Y/Z axes and 30 m/min on the W-axis, the TMS-1800S ensures high-speed productivity without compromising on stability. Additional standard features include a coolant and chip removal system, hydraulic and lubrication units, splash guarding, LED lighting, and preparation for a bar feeder interface.
