NEW KHK SMS3-30R

The KHK SMS3-30R is a Carbon Steel Spiral Miter Gear from Kohara Gear Industry Co., Ltd., featuring Module 3, 30 teeth, and a right-hand spiral direction. Manufactured to JIS B 1704:1978 Grade 4 precision, these gears utilize Gleason tooth form geometry with a 35° helix angle and 20° pressure angle. The teeth are induction hardened to HRC 50–60 and finished with a black oxide coating, providing excellent wear resistance for power transmission applications requiring a 1:1 gear ratio at a 90° shaft angle. Shafts mount horizontally and this gear pairs with the SMS3-30L (left-hand) for a matched miter set.
