High Speed Cell Lines – overview
The High Speed Cell Lines (HSCL) consist of two production lines. These
production lines were designed to manufacture Zinc Chloride cells in
the R20 (D) size and the R6 (AA) size cells. These lines were designed
to produce at a capacity of 600 cells per minute. Currently these lines
capacity was reduced to produce at ± 300 cells per minute.

Air consumption: 5 cubic meters/minute 5 cubic meters/minute
Vacuum: 10 cubic meters/minute 10 cubic meters/minute

The manufacturing process / line consists of the following process equipment:
• 6 x paper component presses 3 x R20 (mix cup, mix washer
and bottom ring) and 3 x R6 (mix cup, mix washer and bottom ring)
• 9 x horizontal Schuler presses (5 x R20 and 4 x R6)
• 2 x Zinc can trimming machines (1 x R20 and 1x R6)
• 2 x HSCL (1 x R20 and 1 x R6) These lines consist of interconnected
machines, which include
o R6 Zinc Can Supply, R6 Zinc Can arranging Machine, R6 Separator
Insert Machine, R6 Mix Cup insert machine, R6 Rotary Mix Filling
Machine A, R6 Rotary Mix Filling Machine B, R6 Mix Washer Insert
Machine, R6 Mix Washer Insert Machine, R6 Carbon Rod Insert Machine,
R6 Pitch coating Machine, R6 P.E Seal Washer insert machine.
R6 P.E Seal Washer insert machine, R6 Top Cap Insert Machine,
R6 Top ring/Crimp MJ Supp machine, R6 Boxing Machine
o R20 Sep&Mix Cup insert machine, R20 Black Mix Filling Machine,
R20 Mix wash&car rod ins machine, R20 Pitch coating machine,
R20 PE Seal wash insert machine, R20 PVC Tube insert machine,
R20 Top cap/ring insert& crimp, R20 Metal jacket supply appar,
R20 Boxing Machine.
• 2x metal jacket manufacturing machines (R6 TOHO metal jacket
maker and R20 TOHO metal jacket maker)
• Plastic storage trays for both R6 and R20 HSCL cells
• Bin items / spare parts that is still available,
• Original technical documentation
• Electronic drawings of mechanical parts

These lines were dismantled and placed in storage in 2025
No additional charge for dismantling only for loading.
