Overview
Bale Wagons

The Anderson RBMPRO 1400 collects wrapped round bales with a rotating hydraulic clamp, telescopic loading arm and adjustable roller bed. It handles hay, baleage and straw bales up to 5 feet in diameter. The clamp carries the bale without piercing the film with spears, while the rollers move the load along the trailer with less dragging. This carrier is supplied without brakes. Model photos may show optional equipment.
During pickup, the arm moves rearward as the tractor advances. A bale detector starts the loading sequence, reducing repeated control commands as each bale is placed. The operator continues to steer and control travel. The rotating clamp accepts bales lying on their side or flat end, and the telescopic arm reaches the inner row and upper load positions.
Hydraulic bed-width adjustment changes row spacing for the bale diameter. A rear stopper roller retains the load during collection, then retracts as the bed tilts for unloading. Supporting bales on rollers reduces the sliding and film stretching that can occur when a bale is pulled along a fixed deck.
At 30 feet 5 inches overall, the RBMPRO 1400 is 8 feet shorter than the RBMPRO 2000. The 2000 adds four wrapped-bale places in each two-row arrangement below; the 1400 provides the shorter carrier with the same 130 HP minimum.
Wrapped-bale capacities use two rows. The 14-bale maximum applies to suitable three-row dry-hay or straw layouts and varies with bale size.
