SPC7082 Extruder 16" diameter extruder kneader 7.5 hp drive

Ribbed ring pug mill extruder and cutter. The pug mill unit consists of (2) extruder sections. The top extruder has a mixing area with an estimated 105 gallons / 400 liters total capacity and an estimated 68 gallons / 260 liters, (2) 16" pug/paddle type agitators, a 16" diameter x 52" long screw with a cutting blade at the end, and a clam shell bottom for easy clean-out. The bottom extruder has a 5" diameter x 26" long screw auger. The (2) pug/paddle agitators are driven by 1.5 hp 1140 rpm motors through a gear reducer. The top and bottom extruders a 12" section that has a heat exchanger (no tag) and are both driven by 7.5 hp 1770 rpm motors through a 56.55:1 ratio gear reducers. The wire type cutter can cut up to an estimated (90) sections 3/8" wide each rotation. The cutter is driven by a ¾ hp 1430 rpm motor. Requires 230/460 vac 3 phase electrical supply. This unit was making clay disks prior to coating with a catalyst material.
