Fingers on the chuck rotate the jaws into position and move back to clamp the part against the face of the chuck. Works with a standard hydraulic draw bar and actuator configuration. It is very similar to the Kitagawa FG Series of chucks.
Best suited for those most difficult workholding applications where fixture location and axial jaw clamping is a must.
