The Biesse Skill 1224 G FT is an industrial-grade, flat-bed nesting machining center engineered for high-precision routing, boring, and nesting operations. When integrated with an automated Load and Unload System, it transforms from a standalone machine into a continuous production cell. This automated configuration maximizes material yield, drastically reduces manual handling, and is heavily optimized for high-volume cabinet manufacturing, commercial casework, and flat-panel processing.
Automated Load & Unload Sequence
Automatic Material Loading: An integrated vacuum lift or scissor-table alignment system automatically picks up raw sheets from a bunk and positions them onto the matrix table. Alignment is completed instantly against pneumatic pin stops.
Continuous Machining & Nesting: The machine executes complex multi-axis nesting toolpaths, routing profiles, and vertical drilling cycles without operator intervention.
Integrated Sweeper Arm & Offloading: Upon completion, a heavy-duty motorized sweeper arm slides the entire nested sheet of finished parts and offcuts off the machine bed onto a powered outfeed conveyor belt.
Simultaneous Bed Cleaning: The sweeper arm features integrated dust-extraction hoods and air blowers. As it clears the finished parts, it cleans the underlying spoilsheet, preparing the surface instantly for the next raw panel loading phase.

Boring Head 10 multi-spindle configuration: 10 independent vertical spindles (7 arranged in X-axis, 3 in Y-axis) / Upgradeable to 14 independent vertical spindles. Driven by a 2.2 HP motor at 2,800 RPM and a 4.0 HP motor at 6,000 RPM.
Tool Changer 12-position carousel/rotary-style tool changer riding along with the gantry for rapid, optimized cycle times.
Tool Length Setup Integrated tool length measuring device for automatic calibration.
Table & Workpiece Management
