Overview
The D500 is designed to provide superior sustained dynamic accuracy. Makino Thermal Stabilizer technology isolates the machine from ever-changing shop conditions. Insulated castings, core-cooled ballscrews, temperature-controlled DD motors and spindle all combine to deliver thermal stability. The rotary axes deliver twice the accuracy of competitive machines to achieve greater accuracy performance when machining away from the center of rotation.
