This twin screw stainless steel hollowscrew dryer is a high-efficiency drying system, designed for thermal drying of bulk materials using indirect heat transfer. The trough measures 142” long x 20.5” wide x 16” deep, with a 13.25” x 16” inlet, a 6” x 9” inlet, and grated sections for controlled material feeding. A 6” diameter flanged outlet with a gate valve allows for precise material discharge.
The screws are driven by a 1.5 HP, 1140 RPM motor, which is geared down through a reducer to 6.9 RPM, ensuring controlled and uniform material movement. The dryer is mounted on a heavy-duty carbon steel frame with an integrated catwalk and ladder for easy access and maintenance.
The system requires a 230/460 VAC, 3-phase electrical supply and is suitable for drying applications in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and industrial processing.
