It serves as a replaceable mounting interface disk between the robotic torch and the robot arm, absorbing the energy of any collision during a robot work envelope incident to protect the arm and torch system from damage. It is compatible with 4R100 and 4R220 robot-mounted wire feeders and is sold as a single unit per package.
