MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
Nercon Engineering manufactures conveyor systems and material-handling equipment for food, beverage, consumer-products and packaging-line applications. Gripper conveyors can securely hold containers from opposing sides while elevating, lowering, inverting or transferring them through rinsing and other packaging operations.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Used Nercon Engineering upswing gripper air rinser lowerator, built 2008, previously running liter and 1.75-liter plastic bottles. The stainless steel system uses deionized air to clean compatible containers while adjustable grippers hold and transport the bottles through the machine. Containers enter through the side at an approximate 78" elevation and discharge from one end at approximately 40" high, allowing the system to combine bottle rinsing with controlled elevation reduction. The unit includes a 4.5" tabletop conveyor, and the gripper chains are driven by two 1.5 HP motors. Maximum conveyor speed is approximately 125 FPM. Includes PLC control panel and requires 230 VAC, 3-phase electrical service. Unit stands on four adjustable feet. Approximate overall dimensions are 55" wide x 170.5" long x 127" high. Possible applications include rinsing, cleaning, lowering and transferring compatible plastic bottles and containers in beverage, food, household-product, personal-care and other packaging lines.
