MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
US Filter manufactured industrial water-treatment and purification systems used for filtration, adsorption and process-water applications. CT Series carbon purification vessels are designed to contain activated carbon media for removing compatible organic compounds, odors, colors and other adsorbable contaminants from liquid process streams.
This vessel was fabricated by Ross Engineering of Savannah, Georgia in 2002.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Used US Filter CT Series 304 stainless steel carbon purifier fabricated by Ross Engineering of Savannah, Georgia in 2002. National Board #465, Manufacturer Serial #SF-7790. The vessel shell is rated for a maximum allowable working pressure of 100 PSI at 230°F with an MDMT rating of 100 PSI at -20°F. Vessel dimensions are approximately 84" outside diameter x 99" straight side with an overall length of approximately 176". Access is provided through an 18" x 14" elliptical manway. Bottom connections include one 6" RFSO nozzle with blind flange and 3" pipe and one 2" RFSO nozzle with blind flange. Side connections include one 3" RFSO nozzle and one 2" RFSO nozzle with blind flange, with one additional 2" RFSO connection located on top of the vessel. The unit includes additional piping, valves and a control panel. Activated carbon is not currently charged in the vessel. Possible applications include activated-carbon treatment, liquid purification, adsorption, decolorization, odor removal and contaminant reduction in compatible water and process-liquid systems.
