PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Used 1995 Bühler 1,500-liter / 400-gallon stainless steel jacketed vacuum processing mixer, Serial #26694, National Board #23519. The vessel is rated for full vacuum and 3 PSI at 250°F, with the jacket rated for 50 PSI at 250°F. Vessel interior measures approximately 51" diameter x 66" straight side with a 12" cone bottom and 10" dished top. The mixing system combines a hydraulic-motor-driven scrape agitator with a 12" high-speed disperser blade for processing compatible liquid and viscous formulations. The disperser assembly provides approximately 19" of vertical depth adjustment through a hydraulic lift system. The electric drive motor for the high-speed disperser is missing. Included controls consist of a control panel and Reliance Electric GP2000 VS Drive, Model 2GU41100, a variable-speed constant-torque AC controller designed for a 100 HP motor. The top head includes three 2" flanged fittings, one 1" flanged fitting, one 4" flanged fitting, one 8" flanged fitting and a 3" sight glass. Bottom discharge is through a 3" flanged center outlet connected to a ball valve, with 2" flanged jacket connections. The vessel was previously mezzanine mounted and includes three stainless steel mounting lugs. Approximate overall dimensions are 160" high x 54" wide. Unit is reported in good condition. Possible applications include vacuum processing, blending, dispersion, heating and cooling of compatible coatings, adhesives, inks, chemical formulations, cosmetics, personal-care products and other liquid or viscous materials.
