THE COMMSCOPE 75/15 310-KA/1 IS A WRSS (WRAPAROUND RE-ENTERABLE SEALING SLEEVE) AUXILIARY HEAT SHRINK KIT. DESIGNED FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SEALING AND PROTECTION OF FIBER OPTIC CABLE SPLICES AND CLOSURES, THIS KIT ACCOMMODATES CABLE DIAMETERS RANGING FROM A MINIMUM OF 15 MM TO A MAXIMUM OF 75 MM. THE SLEEVE IS FABRICATED FROM RADIATION CROSS-LINKED POLYOLEFIN MATERIAL, INTERNALLY COATED WITH A THERMOPLASTIC HOT-MELT ADHESIVE TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE MOISTURE SEALING. ITS WRAPAROUND CONFIGURATION ALLOWS FOR INSTALLATION WITHOUT REQUIRING CABLE DISCONNECTION. THE KIT INCLUDES THE HEAT SHRINK SLEEVE, A POLYAMIDE CHANNEL, AND STAINLESS STEEL CLOSURE CLIPS, PROVIDING ROBUST ENVIRONMENTAL INGRESS PROTECTION FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE.
