3M Fire Barrier Pillows provide up to 3 hours of firestop protection and are engineered for through-penetration applications, including cable trays, conduits, and blank openings. These self-contained, intumescent pillows expand when exposed to high temperatures, creating a secure seal around penetrants to help prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases.
Designed for easy installation, 3M Fire Barrier Pillows require no wire mesh and are ideal for applications where future cable additions or modifications are anticipated. Their re-enterable design allows pillows to be quickly removed and replaced as needed, simplifying maintenance and system upgrades. Constructed with a graphite-free composition that does not conduct electricity, these firestop pillows also offer excellent aging characteristics for long-lasting performance and durability.
