Unique "4522" CNC Shape & Sand Machine - HSK Spindles (2023)
All CNC Controlled Shaping & Sanding Operation. Ridged one piece welded steel frame double spindle shaper (CNC controlled jump cope & cope) with two 45° tilting sanding stations.
All heads are floating heads making this machine suitable for shape and sand on pre-hogged arched raised panels. Jump cope on first shaper eliminates tear out of end grain.

Shapers: (2) 10 HP Direct drive variable speed floating shapers, 6,000 - 10,000 RPM HIMMEL motors with HSK Spindle Adaptors
Sanders: (2) 2 HP - 400 - 2,000 Variable RPM HIMMEL direct drive floating & tilting sanding motors with HSK Spindle Adaptors
2-1/2" Max. workpiece thickness; 6" wide with replaceable pads, variable feed speed conveyor from 0 - 35 FPM.
(5) Staggered rows of holddown rollers; squaring fence for narrow parts, exclusion of workstations with the flip of a switch.
A computer select module assists the operator with quick setup & changeover; "Sure Set Positioning" upgrade.
Compressed air requirement of 1 CFM @ 90 PSI, approx. 3,600 CFM dust extraction via (2) 5" dust ports for the shaping stations and (2) 4" ports for the sanding stations.
