This furnace was designed to heat treat Grain Oriented Electrical Steel. It was specifically designed to heat treat transformer cores. It can easily be adapted to heat treat other electrical steel type grades or products such as Coller Rolled Motor Lamination (CRML) typically used in low power transformers or fractional electric motors.
This furnace was professionally decommissioned 11 years ago and was moved into storage 2 years ago.
It has less than 800 hours of service.
