Spheri Valves can be used to handle All types of Ash, Coal and other fuels, limestone and other sorbents
Frictionless rotation: The internal dome rotates 90° to open or close the material passage. During this movement, the dome does not touch the seal, which prevents abrasive particles from wearing down the mechanical parts. 
Dynamic Inflatable Seal: Once the dome is completely closed, a specialized elastomeric sealing ring is inflated using compressed air pressure. This firmly presses the seal against the dome, trapping particles and creating a 100% airtight cut, even under heavy differential pressure. 
Opening Cycle: Before the dome rotates again to open the valve, the seal is completely deflated, clearing the path and eliminating friction during rotation.
Hard Materials: Capable of handling fly ash, cement, sand, washed minerals, heavy sludge and wood chips.
Thermal resistance: There are configurations with normal elastic seals (black) and high temperature seals (red).
Maintenance: The sealing ring is the common wearing part and, depending on the operation, is easily replaced (frequently every 6 months in high-demand environments).
