This brushless induction drive refrigerated centrifuge performs routine spins on the lab bench. Over-temperature/over-speed diagnostics. The quiet (65 dB), brushless induction drive motor can be set in 100 rpm increments and is accurate to ±50rpm. Refrigerant is free of CFC. The biosafe bowl rotor contains hazardous spills and aerosols if breakage occurs. It accommodates up to 84 microcentrifuge tubes from 250 µL to 1.8 mL and can be carried from the centrifuge to a fume hood without breaking the seal. A flexible drive shaft helps compensate for drive imbalances. It accommodates a selection of 13 rotors, sold separately.
