The HURON K3X 8 Five is a compact, high-performance 5-axis machining center engineered for precision milling of complex components in aerospace, medical, mold & die, and high-accuracy mechanical applications. Designed for simultaneous 5-axis and 5-sided machining, the K3X 8 Five offers an ideal combination of speed, dynamics, and accuracy in a compact footprint. With a worktable diameter of approximately 500 mm and a load capacity of up to 250 kg, it is perfect for high-precision machining of small to medium-sized parts. Its fixed-portal cast iron structure with ribbed reinforcement delivers maximum rigidity and vibration damping under high-speed conditions.

Equipped with a high-speed HSK 63-A electrospindle reaching up to 24,000 rpm, the K3X 8 Five supports aggressive cutting while maintaining excellent surface finishes. Its torque-motor-driven tilting and rotary axes ensure backlash-free movement and high positioning accuracy, allowing continuous motion from vertical to horizontal. Preloaded ball screws with expansion compensation, absolute measurement scales, and thermal stability features enable excellent repeatability and contouring precision. The ergonomic design, easy maintenance access, and optional vibration monitoring system make it a versatile and production-ready 5-axis CNC solution.
