A refurbished Agilent 1260 Infinity G1329B autosampler. It draws a precise volume and injects it onto the column, with a standard analytical head and optional preparative heads for higher-volume injections.

What Agilent says about this platform
Agilent built the G1329B around a standard analytical head with an injection range of 0.1 to 100 microliters. Optional preparative heads extend injection volume to 900 microliters, one rated to 200 bar and the other to 400 bar; an SL configuration keeps the 100-microliter analytical head but raises the pressure limit to 600 bar. An X-Z-Theta transport mechanism positions the gripper arm for vial pickup, monitored by optical sensors and encoders to confirm correct operation. The metering device flushes after every injection to hold carryover down. The standard 1260 configuration includes a 100-vial thermostatted tray, a 40-vial tray, a 15-vial tray, and an electrically actuated 600-bar Rheodyne injection valve. The autosampler pairs with the 1290 Infinity Thermostat, the G1330B, for temperature-sensitive samples. It integrates with 1200 Infinity Series, 1200 Series, and 1100 Series LC systems, controlled through Agilent OpenLab software or another chromatography data system.

Liquid injection
Draws a precise volume from the vial or well and injects it onto the column, using an X-Z-Theta transport mechanism to position the gripper arm for each pickup.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
