Guard Chip and flow path
A single-use Guard Chip seals the flow path and protects downstream components from contamination. Ferrule-free, click-and-run connections let an operator swap a column in under a minute without tools or leak checks.
Column oven
Direct, ballistic heating replaces a conventional convection oven and ramps from 30 to 450°C at up to 250°C per minute. Faster, more repeatable ramps shorten cycle time between injections.
Inlet and detector chips
Inlets and detectors install as planar chip modules instead of separately plumbed hardware. A chip change replaces the manual reconfiguration a conventional GC needs to switch detection chemistry.
Smart Keys
Smart Keys attached to flow path components identify the installed configuration and column age and load the default method parameters for that setup, which cuts setup error at changeover.
Built-in intelligence
Onboard diagnostics track more than 100 instrument parameters in real time and walk an operator through self-guided maintenance and troubleshooting instead of a service call.

What “GenTech Certified” means
Refurbishment at GenTech is a defined process, not a wipe-down. Every system moves through the same five stages.
1. Disassembly and rebuild. Solution Scientists strip the instrument down, clean each module inside and out, and rebuild it from the frame up. They replace pump seals, pistons, and check valves to specification.
2. Configuration and new parts. Solution Scientists install the options and modules you selected and fit new wear parts throughout. They replace the detector lamp with a new one and reset the lamp hours.
3. Diagnostic and performance testing. Solution Scientists tune and calibrate the instrument, run system diagnostics, and confirm detector wavelength accuracy. They test full-system pressure and gradient performance against OEM and published benchmarks using known reference chemicals.
4. Data package you approve before shipment. The verification data goes to you for approval before the system leaves the bench. You see exactly how the instrument performs before it ships.
5. Delivery and installation. The instrument ships in protective packing with a one-year warranty option and professional installation available from a GenTech Solution Scientist.
