The 2024 Otinus FLD-3015-3000W is an enclosed laser cutting machine featuring a 3 kW Maxphotonics laser power source and a 9 in x 20 ft tube cutting attachment. The machine has full dimensions of 351 x 163.39 x 88 in (8895 x 4150 x 2222 mm) and a working area (X, Y) of 120 x 60 in (3000 x 1500 mm) with a Z-axis head travel of 13 in (330 mm). It features a monolithic steel frame construction, an aluminium cross beam, and a table load capacity of 1985 lb (900 kg). Driven by Yaskawa SGD Series / Schneider LXM Series drives, the machine utilizes a helical teeth rack and pinion transmission for the X/Y axes and a ball screw transmission for the Z axis. It achieves simultaneous X, Y positioning speeds of up to 4528 in/min (115 m/min) with an acceleration of 1.5 G (15 m/s²). Auxiliary systems include an automatic lubrication system, a built-in sectional dust extraction collector, and manual pull-out trays for scrap and small part sorting.
