Manufacturer Information
Mueller
Mueller manufactures stainless steel tanks and process vessels used throughout beverage, brewing, dairy, food, and other liquid-processing industries. Jacketed fermentation vessels provide large-capacity product containment with temperature-control capability for fermentation, conditioning, storage, and other temperature-sensitive processes.
This 2010 Mueller 8,300-gallon fermentation vessel, Serial Number 294433-2, features a pressure-rated stainless steel vessel, cooling jacket, cone-bottom design, and four-leg support configuration.
Description
Available for sale is a used 2010 Mueller 8,300-gallon fermentation vessel, designed for large-volume fermentation and temperature-controlled liquid processing.
The vessel features a dome top and cone bottom and measures approximately 117" internal diameter x 143" straight side x 267" overall height.
The internal vessel is rated for 14.9 PSI at 100°F, while the cooling jacket is rated for 100 PSI at 100°F. The jacketed configuration allows compatible cooling media to be circulated around the vessel to help maintain desired product temperatures during fermentation, conditioning, or storage.
A 16" manway located in the bottom cone provides vessel access. Product discharge is through a 3" center-bottom outlet, while the cone-bottom geometry promotes drainage toward the discharge point.
The vessel is supported on four legs. At approximately 267" (22'3") overall height and 117" (9'9") internal diameter, installation should account for facility clearance, structural requirements, rigging access, and transportation.
This large-capacity Mueller vessel may be suitable for brewing, beer and cider fermentation, wine production, beverage processing, product conditioning, and other compatible temperature-controlled liquid applications.
