USED 2018 CORREA AXIA 85

The Correa Axia 85 is a 5-axis travelling column vertical machining center featuring a pure box-in-box design architecture integrated with a ram droop mechanical system and ram guiding system. Designed for high-precision heavy-duty operations, this machine offers operational axes travels of 4,000 mm along the X-axis and 2,000 mm along the Y-axis, with general configurable ranges spanning 4,000 to 25,000 mm in X, 1,500 to 1,750 mm in Y, and 2,500, 3,000, or 4,000 mm in Z. The unit is equipped with 5-axis technology, a 2-axis contouring head of twist type, featuring a built-in electrospindle or spindle geared transmission, alongside UAD technology universal and orthogonal indexing milling heads. Spindle speeds are fully programmable between 6,000 and 10,000 RPM, supported by a taper system compatible with ISO-50 BIG PLUS and HSK-100 tooling. Tool management is supported by an automatic tool changer (ATC) capacity of 120 tool positions plus 6 dedicated positions for large tools. System monitoring and operational control are managed via a CNC system integrated with Montronix Monitoring Solutions. The workspace configuration includes 3 bays currently setup, capable of being adjusted to utilize the full table length, and utilizes specially developed tilting and turning tables engineered specifically for heavy loads.
