With a stainless steel display deck and a galvanized steel back, the Federal RSSM-678SC vertical open-air cooler is built for use in commercial environments. It provides storage on four black metal shelf tiers and the unit’s base, and to accommodate a variety of foods and beverages, the shelves are adjustable. To further enhance visibility and the appeal of the food, the top is illuminated with bright LED lights. At the end of the night, an included shade can be slid down to reduce energy use and secure the contents.
The Federal RSSM-678SC open-air cooler intakes air from the front and discharges from the back, so it requires at least 6 inches of clearance from the wall for operation. Its self-contained refrigeration system cools with R404A refrigerant, keeping cabinet temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the cabinet is insulated with high-density foam, cool air is maintained inside the unit for uniform temperatures.
