USED 2006 HERMLE C40U DYNAMIC

The 2006 HERMLE C40U dynamic is a high-performance 5-axis machining center designed for precision and efficiency in demanding production settings. It's engineered by Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG in Germany and is equipped with the Heidenhain iTNC 530 control system. The machine is driven by a 10,000 rpm HSK-A63 spindle with a power capacity of 32 kW and a torque of 200 Nm, making it suitable for industries such as aerospace, medical, and mold manufacturing.

This used model features a working area with linear rapid traverse speeds of 60 m/min in the X, Y, and Z axes, and is capable of accelerating at 10 m/s². It offers a tool changer with 38 pockets and a chip-to-chip time of approximately 4.5 seconds. The machine supports a maximum tool length of 300 mm and can accommodate tools of up to 125 mm in diameter with neighboring pockets empty.

The C40U dynamic also includes a NC-controlled swiveling rotary table with an 800 mm diameter clamping surface and a maximum table load capacity of 1,400 kg. The table can swivel between +25 degrees and -110 degrees, driven by a torque motor, and achieves speeds of 25 rpm on the swiveling axis and 65 rpm on the rotary axis. This robust system is capable of handling high workloads, with a mains connection requirement of 400 V/60 Hz and a total power consumption of 43 kVA.
