USED TREE 2UVR

Tree 2UVR vertical knee mill, built by Tree Tool & Die Works of Racine, Wisconsin, distributed through Tornquist Machinery Co. of Los Angeles. Bridgeport-style variable-speed head with infinitely variable spindle speeds from 60 to 3,300 RPM. Table measures approximately 42" x 10.5" (T-slot, 3 slots). Approximate axis travel: 25"–26" longitudinal (X), 10"–11" cross (Y), 16"–17.5" knee/vertical (Z), 4" quill — buyer should verify exact travel against the machine, as published specs vary slightly across production runs and this unit's serial number (1553) suggests an earlier build.

Spindle is Tree's proprietary collet-taper design (not R8) — a set of matching collets is included with the machine, but standard R8/NMTB tooling will not fit without an adapter.

Powered by a 1.5 HP Fairbanks-Morse 3-phase motor (208/220/440V). Equipped with X-axis power feed (feed motor and rate-selector dial present) — not currently wired/connected; buyer will need to hook it up. No DRO fitted. Stated to be in good running condition; surface rust and paint wear typical of shop use, no visible damage to ways, table, or head casting.
