Heyl & Patterson used rotary railcar dumper previously used by a coal company for a period of 1.5 years. Car gross weight: 363,000 pounds. Cycle from start to dump position and return, 170 degrees rotation, equals 90 seconds. Maximum rotation: 170 degrees. Unit still inside a building. The reducer and motor would need to be evaluated for rebuilding. Controls need to be modernized.  Unit was ordered in 2001 and installed in 2002 and only used for 16 months before plant shutdown.
