The SMG SH-260 Vertical CNC Gear Hobbing Machine is designed for manufacturers that need greater workpiece capacity without sacrificing precision, productivity, or flexibility.
With the ability to handle workpieces up to Ø260 mm, a maximum module of M6 / approximately 4.23 DP, and hob speeds up to 2,000 rpm, the SH-260 is well suited for a wide range of medium-sized gear manufacturing applications.
Built on SMG’s rigid vertical hobbing platform and equipped with the proven Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl CNC control, the SH-260 delivers the accuracy, repeatability, and production capability required for both job-shop and high-volume manufacturing environments.
