Overview
Stainless steel continuous lye peeling system, Model TNK-010, designed for food and vegetable peeling applications. System includes an enclosed stainless steel processing chamber with internal perforated rotary section, product inlet and discharge connections, centrifugal circulation pump, piping, and shell-and-tube heat exchanger for heating and circulating process solution. Also includes a stainless steel rotary lye tumbler, Model REL-003, for tumbling and product treatment as part of the peeling process. Equipment is mounted on stainless steel frames and includes stainless steel process piping and sanitary-type connections. Suitable for processing products where heated lye treatment is used to loosen and remove skins prior to washing or subsequent processing.
