MACHINE OVERVIEW:
The 2016 DMG MORI DMU 65 monoBLOCK is a versatile 5-axis universal milling machine designed to meet various industrial requirements, from high-speed milling to heavy part machining in both 3- and 5-axis configurations. It features a swivelling rotary table with a 650 mm diameter that can handle workpieces up to 840 mm in diameter, 500 mm in height, and 600 kg in weight. The machine boasts an extremely compact footprint of under 8 m², allowing efficient use of space without compromising access to the working area.

Equipped with a speedMASTER high-tech motor spindle, it achieves maximum rotational speeds of 20,000 rpm and provides a spindle power of 35 kW with a torque of 130 Nm. The DMU 65 monoBLOCK supports a vertical chain tool magazine that can hold up to 60 tools, enhancing productivity with a chip-to-chip time of approximately 4.9 seconds. The machine's linear axes offer rapid traverses of 40 m/min with an acceleration of 6 m/s², ensuring fast and precise operations.

Constructed with a robust design, this model features stainless steel cladding to maintain long-term value and stability. The DMU 65 offers excellent machining performance attributed to the quality build by DECKEL MAHO. Its control system utilizes DMG MORI's ERGOline with a 19" monitor and 3D control, supported by the renowned HEIDENHAIN functionality, ensuring user-friendly operation and maximum process efficiency.
