Condition

This unit was installed and in service at a modern industrial processing facility until the entire facility was sold and decommissioned. We acquired the equipment as part of the complete plant liquidation.

While the mixer was previously in operation prior to removal, we have not tested the equipment ourselves after acquisition.

Cosmetically, the unit is in very good condition with normal signs of industrial use. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.

Description

Offered for sale is a 2019 IKA CMX 2000/5 Powder Wetting Mixer, a premium inline high-shear processing system designed for rapid powder incorporation, dispersion, emulsification, homogenization, and particle size reduction.

The CMX utilizes IKA’s advanced multi-stage rotor/stator technology, generating extremely high shear forces that instantly wet powders, eliminate agglomerates, and produce highly uniform, repeatable products. Compared to conventional agitators and standard inline mixers, the CMX significantly reduces processing time while improving product consistency, stability, and overall production efficiency.

Depending on the application, this system can perform the functions of a high shear mixer, powder induction system, homogenizer, emulsifier, disperser, and colloid mill, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of industrial processes.

The system is skid-mounted and includes the stainless steel mixer assembly, sanitary process piping, instrumentation, and an AERNI 316L stainless steel pressure vessel, all shown in the photographs.
