Overview
Strong Scott double ribbon mixer, 87 cubic feet capacity, constructed of 304 stainless steel, model IMS87, Serial number 2138. Trough measures 98" long x 45" wide x 48" deep, 10" end bottom discharge, includes 2-piece hinged cover. Ribbon assembly includes 8" solid stainless-steel shaft, 1-3/8" wide X 1/2" thick outer ribbon, 2-1/2" wide x 1/4" thick inner ribbon, Ribbon speed is 31.2 RPM. Mixer was previously driven by 20 HP, 600 volt, 1800 RPM, 3/60 Hz, gearhead motor thru roller chain and sprocket assembly (less drive assembly). Openings top ports, (1) 6".
