Available for sale is a used continuous-flow liquid nitrogen processing tumbler system designed for cryogenic biomass processing and mechanical particulate separation.
The process begins with an inclined feed auger and hopper that continuously introduces material into the system. Liquid nitrogen (LN₂) is applied to rapidly cool and embrittle the biomass before it enters the rotary separation stage. This cryogenic treatment assists with the subsequent mechanical release and separation of suitable particulate material.
The conditioned biomass enters a cylindrical rotary separation tumbler featuring interchangeable mesh screens, internal helical conveying members, and mixing bars. As the chamber rotates, material is agitated and advanced through the tumbler while separated particulate passes through the selected mesh screen.
Screened product falls into an enclosed collection vessel and is removed by dedicated collection augers. The remaining plant material continues through the system to a separate waste chamber and discharge auger, supporting continuous material flow and separation.
