Tar River DRL048 48" Seeder, 7 Seed and 7 Fertilizer Cups, Category I Hitch

The Tar River DRL048 is a 48-inch seed and fertilizer drill for worked ground, food plots, smaller fields, and pasture seeding. Separate systems use seven seed cups and seven fertilizer cups, allowing both products to be metered across the working width in the same pass.
Its four-foot width pairs with a Category I three-point hitch and a listed 15-horsepower minimum. The drill weighs 585 pounds before seed or fertilizer is loaded, so three-point lift capacity and tractor balance still need to be checked for the working load.
Specifications
Confirm the crops, seed and fertilizer rates, opener configuration, and box capacities on the specific drill. Calibrate each product separately, then check the tractor for hitch compatibility, lift capacity, and transport clearance.
