MAYA 12R30FC 12-Row, 30-Inch Folding Chopping Corn Head

The MAYA 12R30FC is a 12-row folding chopping corn head with 30-inch row spacing, poly snouts and automatic height control. Its long, flat-running row units work close to the ground to gather leaning and down corn. Hydraulic folding narrows the head for transport, and separate stalk choppers process residue as you harvest.
Harvesting down corn
MAYA’s optional down-corn units replace the standard poly snouts and bonnets. A mechanically driven gathering chain runs over the top of each replacement snout to pull fallen stalks into the head, including stalks pulled loose from the ground.
Optional lateral side chains use metal paddles to bring leaning stalks at the ends of the head back into the row units and intake auger.
Picking and stalk chopping
The 36-inch deck plates provide a long picking path. MAYA pairs that length with a low-RPM picking design for gentler ear removal and less kernel scatter. Each snapping roll carries six steel blades with tungsten-carbide-coated cutting edges. Individual slip clutches protect the row units and intake auger when an obstruction overloads the drive, helping limit damage to those components.
Chopping stalks as you harvest can save a separate tractor-mounted chopping pass. Each row’s chopper can be disengaged individually. The chopper blades have two serrated cutting edges, so you can reverse a worn blade and use its second edge before replacement.
Combine compatibility and options
Mounting options are available for John Deere, Case IH, CLAAS/Lexion, New Holland and Fendt combines. Optional row guidance is available. Spring-loaded stalk stompers can be added to flatten stalks ahead of the tires and reduce stubble damage.
