Loftness 31BX20 Battle Ax Excavator Mulcher, 31" Cut, Planer Teeth

The Loftness 31BX20 is an excavator mulching head for smaller excavators doing right-of-way work, site prep, invasive brush removal, and general vegetation management. Its 31" cutting width keeps the head compact for placement around standing material. The 20 Series Battle Ax rotor uses depth gauges and a two-stage cutting chamber.
This configuration uses Quadco reversible planer teeth, with beaver teeth available. The included blank plate requires fabrication to the carrier-specific mount, or we can arrange a custom mount for the excavator. The 31BX20 is sized for 10,000 to 20,000 lb excavators and uses a 45cc gear motor with hydraulic flow support from 15 to 35.9 GPM.

45cc Gear Motor
The 45cc high-pressure gear motor is designed for excavators with 15 to 35.9 GPM and up to 4,100 PSI.
Blank Plate Mount
The blank plate requires fabrication to the carrier-specific mount. We can also arrange a custom excavator mount.
Housing And Belt Drive
The head uses a high-strength steel housing and 3-band belt drive.
