Loftness 240 20' Windrower Shredder, End Transport Kit
Overview
The Loftness 240 center-discharge crop shredder chops corn stalks and places the residue in a windrow for collection. Its dual rotors use hard-surfaced cupped knives, with a diffuser and rear shields guiding material toward the center.
A four-groove banded belt and spring-loaded idler drive the rotors. The included end-transport system turns the wide field machine into an endwise-towed arrangement for moving between fields.
Specifications
Match the windrow to the pickup on the baler or collection equipment. Tractor selection should account for residue volume and moisture as well as PTO speed, and the end-transport dimensions should be checked against field entrances and road access. The gearbox rating is not a tractor horsepower requirement.
