Peck 1282 Auger, 12" x 82', Manual Swingaway
Overview
The Peck 1282 is a 12-inch by 82-foot direct-drive grain auger with a manual swing-away hopper. The PTO powers the auger directly, and the low-profile hopper brings grain from beneath the trailer into the main tube.
MaxEdge flighting uses additional flighting at the intake wear area, while hex connections join the flighting sections. Cable support and a scissor-lift undercarriage carry the tube. Hydraulic or electric hopper movement can be quoted separately from the manual swing-away supplied on this machine.

Peck’s manufacturer chart lists 120 PTO HP for the TAD 1282. Grain moisture and operating angle affect the load on the tractor. Compare the discharge height and setback at the bin with the reach chart, leaving enough room to move the manual hopper beneath the truck.
