Peck 1272 Auger, 12" x 72', Manual Swingaway
Overview
The Peck 1272 is a 72-foot swing-away auger with a 12-inch tube and PTO direct drive. This machine uses manual hopper movement, with a low-profile intake for unloading beneath grain trailers.
The tube is supported by cable bracing and a scissor-lift undercarriage. Peck’s MaxEdge flighting adds material at the intake wear area, and hex connections transfer power between the flighting sections. Electric and hydraulic hopper-movement options are available separately.
Specifications
Peck lists a 100 PTO HP minimum for the TAD 1272. Use the auger’s reach chart to check the bin fill point and working angle, then allow enough space beside the truck to position the manual hopper. Crop condition and moisture can change both the unloading rate and the power needed to maintain it.
