Overview
The Haybuster H‑1135 is a PTO tub grinder with an 11‑foot tub. Its rear-mounted 50″ hammermill has 88 forged swinging hammers and an eight-belt PTO drive, while the electronic governor maintains consistent tub speed. A 26′ hydraulic folding conveyor stacks to 18′6″, and twin hydraulic belly augers feed the conveyor. The tub tilts a full 90° for maintenance access.
Key Features
50″ Heavy-Duty Hammermill: Equipped with 88 forged ½″ hardened-steel hammers on a 3½″ shaft running at approximately 2,140 RPM for fast, uniform grinding.
Electronic Governor & Remote Control: The Wachendorf governor stabilizes tub speed against engine load, tracks hours, and enables reverse tub rotation to clear jams. A remote control allows the operator to adjust the tub and conveyor.
Ultra-Durable 8‑Belt PTO Drive: The 1135 uses eight 5-VP belts with spring tensioners to maintain constant grip under load and simplify maintenance.
26′ Hydraulic Folding Conveyor & Twin Augers: The 24″ cleated conveyor folds hydraulically for transport and stacks processed material up to 18′6″. Dual 12″ × 4′6″ augers provide consistent flow to the conveyor.
90° Tilting Tub: Full tub tilt gives clear access to hammermill, belts, and wear parts for easy servicing.
Technical Specifications
Haybuster requires two grinding screens to be selected when ordering the H-1135. Contact us to confirm the screen sizes and any grain-grinding or slug-buster equipment for this machine.
Performance
The H‑1135 processes round and square bales, loose hay, crop residues, straw, and grain. It requires a 200–315 HP tractor. The governor controls tub feed in relation to hammermill load, while the hydraulic conveyor and belly augers carry material away from the mill.
FAQ
What PTO power do I need?
A 200 HP minimum at 1,000 RPM is required, though 250–315 HP is recommended to maximize capacity.
Can it process grain?
Yes. With the optional grain hopper and correct screens, you can efficiently grind corn, sorghum, and other cereals.
What happens if material jams?
The governor allows the operator to reverse the tub to clear a blockage.
How tall are material piles?
The 26′ conveyor stacks material up to 18′6″ for high-volume piles or loading trailers.
