The FAE UML/SSL 150 is a 62-inch forestry mulcher for 75- to 135-horsepower skid steers and compact track loaders. Its published eight-inch maximum shredding diameter places it in heavier brush, tree, right-of-way, and land-clearing work where a high-flow carrier is available.
FAE offers this family with different rotor and motor combinations, including Bite Limiter, variable-torque, and SONIC versions. The head uses an enclosed frame, adjustable skids, replaceable wear surfaces, protection chains, and hydraulic relief and anticavitation valves. The selected rotor and motor determine the tools, hydraulic requirement, and electrical connection.
