FAE BL1/EX/VT 75 Excavator Mulcher, Variable Piston Motor, Bite Limiter Rotor

The FAE BL1/EX/VT-75 is a Bite Limiter forestry mulcher for 4- to 7.5-ton excavators. Its 31.5 in (800 mm) cutting head is designed for brush, shrubs, small trees, roadside vegetation, and property-maintenance work where excavator reach and positioning are useful.
BL1/EX/VT-75 Design and Operation
The Bite Limiter rotor uses wear-resistant profiles to control how deeply each blade enters the wood. A belt transmission, flow-control valve, and safety/anticavitation valve protect the hydraulic drive. The mechanically adjusted front hood and dedicated rear deflector control material through the cutting chamber.

An excavator adapter is not assumed to be included. Send us the excavator make and model, operating weight, auxiliary flow and pressure, coupler dimensions, pin measurements, case-drain availability, and electrical requirements. We will match the motor setting and mounting arrangement to the carrier.
What excavator size is required?
FAE lists the carrier range for the BL1/EX/VT-75 as 4-7.5 tons. Hydraulic flow, pressure, mount, and machine stability must also be confirmed.
Is the excavator mounting bracket included?
Do not assume a carrier-specific bracket is included. We will quote the adapter and pin arrangement for the excavator.
