Two 30-by-20-inch crank-operated gates control flow from the hoppers. The trailer is equipped with spring suspension, two 22,500-pound axles with ABS, 11R22.5 tires on 10-bolt steel wheels, and a Shur-Co roll tarp. Aluminum ladders at both ends, interior hopper rungs, sight windows, sealed LED lighting, and anti-sail mudflaps support daily loading and unloading.
Specifications
Demco's spring-ride reference weight for the 40-foot model is 11,000 pounds when specified with 66-inch walls and 24.5 tires. Installed equipment affects the finished weight, which is why the exact build record or a certified scale weight should be used before calculating payload and legal hauling weight.
