The Danuser SM40 is a hydraulic post driver with a 40-inch hammer stroke and a 300-pound standard hammer. 40″ Free-Fall Hammer Stroke
The SM40 can achieve full-stroke impact on every cycle or use short-stroke mode for precise depth control. The free-fall design does not use return springs or a rebound cylinder.
300 lb Hammer, 500 lb with Weight Kit
A standard 300 lb hammer delivers up to 1,025 ft‑lbs of energy. An optional 200-pound weight kit increases hammer weight to 500 pounds and rated impact energy to 1,709 foot-pounds.
Hydraulic Tilt (±20°)
Hydraulic tilt provides 20 degrees of side-to-side adjustment for positioning posts on uneven ground.
Hydraulic Grapple
The hydraulic grapple picks up, positions, and holds a post while the operator remains in the cab.
Universal Quick-Attach Mount
This configuration uses a universal skid-steer quick-attach plate and requires 12-30 GPM at 1,500-3,000 PSI.
Hammer Housing and Mount
The hammer housing and mount use 3/4-inch steel. Pivot points are greaseable, and the hydraulic system uses industrial hose fittings.
